Our 6-step Organic Lawn Care Program includes:

Round 1 – Early Spring

Barefoot Lawns’ team of turf technicians are ready to get started as soon as Mother Nature allows, arriving at your property after the spring thaw. We’ll treat the yard with an application of an organic-based fertilizer treatment to break dormancy, feed the soil to promote root system growth and health, and suppress weed germination.

Round 2 – Late Spring

We’ll apply a second round of treatment in late spring/early summer. Barefoot Lawns’ crew of trained professionals uses our organic-based fertilizer to enhance turf color, density, and root development throughout your property.

Round 3 – Summer

The summer heat and potential drought conditions can rob your yard of necessary moisture and nutrients. This third application includes organic-based fertilizer to nourish the soil and root system as well as promote thick, green, healthy grass throughout these hot seasonal months.

Round 4 – Early Fall

New England lawns have unique needs as the weather starts to cool down – it’s our job to get your property ready for it. Our fourth application of an organic-based fertilizer promotes fall color, supports turf density, and prepares your root system for our regional winters.

Round 5 – Late Fall

Barefoot Lawns’ last yearly treatment helps put the turf to bed for its long winter nap. Our final round of organic-based fertilizer promotes root growth and food storage over winter as well as prepares the soil for an early burst of spring color.

Round 6 – Lime

We’ll apply a seasonal round of lime with your final fertilization to maintain a neutral soil throughout winter.
